Antiques Vintage & More Celbridge

We are returning to this venue which was a great success on our first visit, in a lovely rural location that is close to Dublin, and with great facilities. The recently refurbished Celbridge Manor Hotel (previously the Setanta) is in a beautiful and historic location. As usual, we will have a super fair with lots of variety, from antique décor to fabulously glamorous costume jewellery, favoured by movie stars of the 1950’s.

The hotel, now under new management, was built in 1732 as a school for Protestant girls by Thomas Burgh – who also built the famous library at Trinity College. The building makes a superb backdrop for an antiques fair, having a spacious new ballroom and parking for over 300 cars.

How to get there:

Dublin Bus

From Dublin you can catch the No 67 from Westmoreland Street. This will drop you off on Main Street. Once here walk back in the same direction that the bus has dropped you off, you will then come to the Clane Road. Keep walking straight for about 15 minutes and the Celbridge Manor Hotel is on your left. For information on a timetable please go to http://www.dublinbus.ie/

Bus Eireann

From Dublin you can catch the 120 from Connolly Luas Stop situated at Connolly Station. There is a bus stop directly opposite The Celbridge Manor Hotel. For information on timetables please go to http://www.buseireann.ie

 By Car

Easy access from the M4 and M50, click on the link to the map and put your starting point in the direction finder.

  1. Thanks for sharing this :)

I tried contacting The Numismatic Society of Ireland but their phone number seems dead. Do you have the correct one?

    Thanks

    Sorin

    1. Hello Sorin,
Sorry about that, the phone number is the one on the RDS website and it does indeed appear to be disconnected. Sadly, it’s the only number that I have.
      David

  2. Thank David for your fast reply :)

Ahh .. ok, I wanted to ask them if it is ok to give some flyers to people.

I run a website called http://www.allnumis.com , it is not commercial, just a hobby project I’m running in my free time. This is what I want to advertise to the Irish collectors (I’m from Romania and I came to Ireland only few months ago so basically I don’t know any collectors yet).

    Regards

    Sorin

  3. hi , im trying to contact either paddy or martin , re tullamore phoenix militaria and collectables club, can anybody help? I believe they held an event in foresters hall, tullamore on 24th august 13.
