Collect Ireland no longer carries information on Farmers Markets as it’s really outside the scope of this site and, in any event, has not generated the viewership. I only included the page as a favour to a couple of people and I’m sure that they are now well catered for elsewhere. If you’re interested in the Farmers Market scene, whether as a seller or buyer, I can highly recommend the MAST website for all your needs – just click on the link below.

This is one of Ireland’s longest established markets and there are a good variety of traders here most weekends. Being a permanent venue most traders operate from lock-up shop units so there tends to be a much greater amount of stock displayed than in markets where traders bring their stock away with them. A very short walk from Blackrock DART station and the town is also served by the 4, 4A, 7, 7A, 8, 17, 45, and 114 bus routes.
The Market is always worth a look and don’t forget to call to Raven Books www.ravenbooks.ie nearby at 34 Main Street.

Unyoke Market & Car Boot Sale
Unyoke, Co.Wexford Y21 DH92
(Near “The Trading Post” shop/filling station on the (R741) – the road between Gorey and Wexford via Ballycanew)
From: 6.00am – 2.00pm
The Unyoke Market & Car Boot is worth a visit providing it’s dry! It gets very messy and dirty if there’s any rain and as most of the stuff is on the ground as opposed to tables, this is a big disadvantage. Like any market the earlier the better. One of the traders told me that she’s there at 6.30am and dealers would be going through her stuff with a torch. I can be there at any time after 9.00am and it seems to be at its busiest from 9.00am to 11.30am. If you arrive after 11.30am some traders are already packing up.
