Another Christmas is upon us and I am very late in closing down this year. In truth it is very hard to feel enthusiastic about Christmas at this time with so much horror going on in the World but to use that horrible expression, we are where were are, and the show must go on. As always, I’d like to thank all those who have supported the site during the year whether by taking advertising space or supplying updates on the myriad of events that we try to cover. We will endeavour to persevere for another year!

My picture this year is by Mongolian street artist – Ganbaatar – who I have tried in vain to contact for some years now. I bought the original painting for a pittance from a third-party and I hate to think what little the artist must have received. So, as well as wishing all of you a very Happy Christmas I am wishing a special one to Ganbaatar and his family. Perhaps 2024 will be the year that I finally track him down.
