“Never in Vain”

Ultra Rare book by Jocelyn Lee Hardy DSO – a member of the Cairo Gang who survived to tell the tale. Some believe him to have been responsible for the shooting dead of Brendan O’Carroll’s Grandfather in October 1920.

This book when taken with external facts can be seen to be a thinly disguised autobiography.

It has everything a good thriller should have – romance, murder, bigamy, blackmail and retribution.

There’s not another copy to be had anywhere and it took me some years to track down this copy in the USA.

I’m satisfied, I’ve read it and probably will not read it again – so it is offered for sale.

A first edition, published in 1936, minus dustwrapper, but in generally good condition.

€200 including p+p by registered mail.
